Our shot-stopper in Uganda U20 Women’s National Team Final Squad For CECAFA Women’s U20 Championship

 

Luweero Giant Queens shot-stopper Saidah Namwanje has been included in the Uganda U20 Women’s National Team Final Squad for this year's CECAFA Women’s U20 Championship that will get underway on Saturday, 30th October 2021 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Saidah is joined by 22 other players on the list of 23 players chosen by Uganda U20 Women’s National Team head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi to represent the country at this year's Championship that will run between 30th October -9th November 2021.

Meanwhile, six teams confirmed participation for the inaugural edition with hosts Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Eritrea, Djibouti and Tanzania all ready to compete.

Uganda (hosts) will kickstart their campaign against Burundi on Saturday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru and their next game will be against Djibouti on Monday before facing Eritrea, Ethiopia and Tanzania in the subsequent fixtures.
